dc.description.abstract | Data Analytics is a process of obtaining information and new patterns from raw data. Meteorological data analysis is analysis of time series data to obtain new patterns and information. Meteorological data analysis is important field of research in current situation of changing climatic condition. The Meteorological data is a vast and varied set of weather data. The meteorological data analysis involves scientific computing techniques to handle unpredictable nature of the time series data set. Among the various climatic factors affecting the mankind, Rainfall is an important aspect of nature to be analyzed. Due to the unpredictable nature of rainfall, it makes mankind extremely difficult to predict the rainfall of a region. In a country of India where the major occupation of people of country is agriculture, prediction of rainfall and understanding climatic features of a region is extremely important. Understanding the climatic features of a region is important for the livelihood of mankind. Rainfall is important source of water for the livelihood of mankind like transportation, domestic use of water in daily life. The pattern of rainfall affects the climatic features like temperature (extreme heat or extreme cold), ground water level, can lead to natural calamities like flood or drought. | en_US |
